Hi, my name is Honey Girl. My mom adopted me from a breeder here in Tallahassee when I was only 8-weeks old. My sister, Piper Laurie, helped my Mom pick me over all of my brothers and sisters. When Piper first met me, she wanted to play with me and take care of me, and Mom knew it was a match meant to be. Mom was right! I love my sister, Piper, and she loves me too. We are always together and take good care of each other.
About Honey Girl: My full name is Honey Girl of Seven Oaks. I am a very friendly female, red Miniature Dachshund. My birthday is December 11, 2005. I also have additional training in Canine Scentwork and am registered with the National Association of Canine Scentwork.
This is my Mom, Bobbie Jo. Mom and I have been a therapy team since May 2007. I am quiet and gentle, and I love to sit in someone’s lap and give them doggie kisses. I love being petted gently, and I’m looking forward to seeing you soon so we can play tug-owar. Love, Honey Team Activities: Mom and I like to visit with adults, seniors, and girls ages 10 – 16. We visit at hospitals, courts, schools and we’re even a READ team and visit at schools to help children learn to read. At any given time I have lots of brothers and sisters because my mom helps with Dachshund Rescue and we foster Dachshunds until they find their furever homes.
